We thank you for taking the time to visit us.  Children's Rescue Outreach International, CROI for short, was established in 1994 to provide food, clothing and education to orphans and widows around the world. We are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.

CROI was established as a result of the the civil war in Liberia, Africa. A new category of socially vulnerable population at high risk has emerged: abandoned and orphaned children. The adult and elderly grandparents’ of these children that survived the war are unable to fend food for themselves and their grandchildren. The need to rehabilitate basic social services to compliment government’s recovery drive is critical for the educational and emotional development of orphaned and abandoned rural children.
